- Sent the children back to school - youngest STARTED school , which he is loving! Yay!
- I have registered for a uni course. Not sure if I have the time but I am going to start it and see what happens.
- We are having our house valued to see if we might move house...seeking God's will in this.
- Been for one v. frustrating appointment about D's autism. We have to wait 6-9 months for the next (final) assessment which will give us diagnosis....but 6 months?! Come on! I am praying that I will learn to trust God's timing and purpose
- Been pondering my long term future in the business....not in a depressed way AT ALL but in a calm, productive, sensible, rational way.
- I am praying....praying about the house, the business, my children (esp.D's appointments) and praying about my response to the request to join our church's prayer ministry team.
- For the first time in 9 years, (ie, since we had kids) we are going away for one night for our anniversary!!!! I am already wondering if I can leave the children.
- I am also wondering how to break the news to my sister that I can't make my neice's "going to uni" party because we are away (see 7). uh-oh.
- Struggling just a little to find a 'fit' of friends at our church. We LOVE our church, and can't believe we have been there a year already. But we don't fit into any group...There is a large DINKy's group we don't fit into, there are some lovely people with teenage children that we don't fit into group-wise.....all lovely people and I would say we are making friends but slowly.
- If you read this, please leave a comment (unless you are a nut job in which case please don't bother!!) as I don't know if anyone reads this and if it's even worth considering the blog anymore...

I read you! What course are you doing??
Can't believe you have to wait so long for D's appts but then again it has taken soooo long for dads prostate op I kind of can. Are you going somewhere nice for you anniversary, the kids will be fine just enjoy yourselves.
And one more question, what is a DINK??

A lot to consider there, Debs. Just been reading Phillipians 4 verses 4-7 and then was left with the question 'Does God promise to give us all that we ask for?'
Well, of course He doesn't. He gives us what is right for us and to His glory. Just continue praying in faith and His peace will be given to you - that's the promise. A peaceful heart is better than an impatient one.
As for selling up - move near us, that way we can see you more!
